When people receive life-saving organ transplants, they are said to have a second birthday; their life has begun again.
Today, March 10th, is Bill Danison’s second birthday. [See yesterday’s post, Broken Hearts.] The surgery began at 10:00 p.m. and he was in recovery at 5:45 this morning. When I last heard from his wife, Bill was still sleeping, and his new heart was beating strong.
Thank you for joining with our church and the 20+ members of Bill’s family who took over the waiting room for the all night vigil.
This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!
Happy Birthday, Bill.
